Help for Dump Truck Quilt
 

I am making a quilt with dump trucks on it for my newest grandson. Three of the quilt blocks are white and call for embroidered stars in them. I want to do something different as I don't think the stars go with the quilt theme.

In two of the blocks I have embroidered truck theme words...one with traffic sign names and one with different types of truck names. I have no idea what to do in the third. Suggestions?

How about highway names or numbers?

How about "(his name) Trucking". Maybe you can add "Since (his birthyear)".

What about some construction zone sayings like "Hard Hat Area," or "men at work," or "danger, construction zone"?

Maybe "Beep Beep" or Honk Honk"???

I like the idea of a highway route number. Sounds like a fun quilt.

Route 66 highway sign ( or whatever highway will bring that little trucker home!)

Thanks for the suggestions! I love the idea of the highway routes. I live outside San Antonio, TX and he lives outside Albany, NY. I think I will map out the route from here to there with all the route numbers!

I hope you post a picture when you are finished. All great ideas.
