Help with Elna 730 Pro excellence
 

I need help with my new Elna 730. I am a quilter and need to reposition my needle for the exact 1/4". There is no problem moving the needle, but I can't figure out how to memorize that position. Every time I sit to sew, I have to select the stitch, move the needle and select the stitch length. It is a royal pain! I just traded in my Janome 6600. It was set and ready to go when the machine was turned on. I'll not keep this machine if I have to reset every time the machine is turned off. Surly there is a way.
