I make my own either with quilted fabric, or if I can't find the fabric I like, I'll quilt the fabric and then make the stockings. Thanks for the positive feedback, Kacklebird.

embroidery just did 12 stockings names on the hanger side undid the stitching almost to heel.
Put in hoop, put on name, resewed the seam. Easy the were bought, from 1.00 to one at 12.00

go to embroidery.com. they have a projects area and will show you how to do it all. this site is great for newbes like me.
