I saved the picture but no name for the pattern and can't remember where I got the picture. I've looked through#'s of patterns still can't find it.

Lovely star! Did you put one corner on wrong or is that the pattern? I know that I have seen the pattern someplace, probably Quilter's Cache, but don't have the name right on the tip of my tongue. Good luck on your search.

I have never seen this one and I am always looking! I would get out the graff paper! In fact, I think I shall do that!

I don't know what it is, but I really like it.

you are right, Sharon. looks like the bottom left was put on backward. however, as you said, that could be the pattern :)

Looks like" Star of the Bluegrass" to me if the corner were turned.

Looks to me like it is supposed to be a bird in flight....it's very pretty.....I have no idea what that pattern name is, but will keep a watch for it

I think you're right, if you turned the block around you still have that blue/green strip going through the star. It looks like a bird!

this is the picture of the pattern block that I save.. would like to make it.

I'm thinking the block would be put together with 3 more just like it turned different directions to form a star in the center with the dark aqua forming a diamond shape around it. Should make a really pretty quilt or wall hanging.
Good luck finding a pattern for it. Might it be in EQ's library?

For some reason, to me it looks like a Thunderbird, no idea why, though. JMHO

If you divide the square into 4 sections with a vertical and horizontal line, you see how the square is made up of 2 different sub blocks. I can see how you could paper piece the section with the large blue trapezoid , but the other one looks like you would need to do some set ins unless you divide some of the larger pieces into triangles. Anyone have eq7 ???

Looks like a rocket ship to me. No idea the name of the block.
