I am looking for an old quilt pattern I believe is called sunburst.
the block contains approx.14-20 pcs. per block. There is 8 longated "rays" with a complimenting color filling in the pieces to make the block. I made this quilt many years ago with my mother but the pattern pieces have been lost thru the years

I don't know if it's the one they are looking for but that is very pretty. Looks hard though.

no, that isn't it but it sure is a nice quilt. wish i knew how to draw on my computer and could almost draw the pattern. thanks

thanks for all your help finding the pattern. I finally found it on line it is called starflower. it is made from squares cut into triangles, but when we made it 40 years ago we did the points all in one block. also, it is shown with 3 colors and we did it in 2 thanks again now i can get to work lol
