I think the only way to know what your customer wants is to ask them to show you an example. (And if they show you the first example that SlightlyOffQuilter found, run for the hills, LOL!)

Beautiful quilt -- but I might not even have any gray hair left after that. !! :oP

If that is the one she wants, I think it sold/sells for $4,000.

SlightlyOffQuilter's quilt is stunning but way over my head at this point of my quilting experience... sew envious of the many talents on this board!

I do not like ANYONE enough to make and give away a quilt like Judy Mathieson's!!

Not this chick! I would run for the hills immediately.

[QUOTE=SlightlyOffQuilter;6637468]did she mean Mariner's Compass perhaps ? I have done a Swoon quilt with a Nautical Theme personally but I doubt that is the one she was talking about LOL

The Swoon quilt is my favorite pattern. I dont know why people say to run for the hills! I have made 2 bed size quilts and they both come out beautiful. 2 different sizes. Yesterday I ordered an 8" Swoon pattern block. I think 4 blocks will make a fun wallhanging. I have been quilting for a few years but didnt find this to be a difficult pattern. Of the 2 sizes I have made, I prefer the smaller size. Less piecing. http://doublenickelquilts.blogspot.c...ilt-block.html
