Has anyone used fusable web on satin? What temperature do I use on iron & do any of you have any other helpful hints for me? I will be fusing it to 100% cotton. It will be an applique. Do you have any suggestions about the stitch I should use? Satin stitch or blanket stitch or another one?? I've washed , dryed & ironed the fabrics. Thanks.

using fusables --you have to follow the instructions for each individual fusable- they are all different- and you have to have the temperature it requires and for the correct amount of time for it to work. there are some that are made for different fabrics- it is best to read the info sheet that comes with them to see if it is ok to use on satin. there are ones that work for silk-
if the satin edge frays much you may want to use a satin stitch= or at least a small (fairly tight) zig-zag. if it does not fray a blanket stitch would work ... depends on the look you want- either way is ok to do
