I am interested in doing my own quilts. Would this be a good setup for me to start with? (I know practice, practice, practice!)

Opinions Please.

Well it definitely seems affordable. Can you go over there and use it to try it out?

Have been helping a friend research longarms and yes that is a good deal. Having a stitch regulator will also help a lot. Just realize that the throat space is not as large as on a real long arm. Good luck.

Looks like a good deal, especially with the offer of set up and training.

The Juki is an excellent machine by itself. That particular frame setup limits your pantographs to about 6" before you have to roll your quilt so that is something to consider. It is an excellent price. I had a similar setup but decided to "go bigger" after about 3-4 years.

Have looked at these frames - check the Grace web site, think the regulator retails for about $500.
