They are both pretty, but I think the first one seems complete around the edge.

I vote for the first layout. It reminds me more of a trellice with the flowers growing on it. Reminds me of my ggm.

The first one it looks like there is a border around it.

Both are nice. However, the second one has a greater visual impact. It takes the ok to wow.

I prefer the 2nd one. Looks more 3 dimensional.
