Help ID a quilt for a friend please
1 Attachment(s)
A friend sent me a photo of a quilt made by her grandmother. She can't remember the name of the pattern.
Could someone kindly identify this pattern for me? Thank you sew much! |
The light color stars are friendship stars, in a scrappy setting.

Oh until you mentioned light stars, i didn't even see them.

I made one of these years ago, called picket fence. Here are instructions

Thank you sew very very much!! That indeed looks like a 'Picket Fence' pattern to me!
Many thanks |
I believe it's a Bonnie Hunter pattern called Star Struck http://quiltville.blogspot.ca/2005/06/star-struck.html

As mentioned by yobrosews...BH has the additional secondary QST along with star.....I think it is a friendship star and grandma's choice of scraps is what sometimes makes it hard to "see" the star.......I watched the tute called picket fence....identical to Friengship Star.....just another name for that "old" pattern I think.......
