I love paper piecing. What pattern did you use?

One of my friends just did the disappearing 9 patch with the center of the 9 in red and the others in black and white prints and it was unbelievable!

I would suggest a 3 color hunters star design. Look at Deb Tucker's ruler at "180 designs "for some ideas. It's wonderfully easy with the ruler and not flowery at all. You could also just do a 2 color design, too, that is really cool and graphic.

The bargello that I posted is called Diamond's Jubilee, and is available in various places around the net.
Here's a link to someone who did it here on the boards: http://www.quiltingboard.com/picture...o-t196199.html

Hay Margie, I'm from Houston too. I have the perfect pattern for you. It's called coarsewoven, and its from www.quilterscache.com. I have a daughter who is just as picky as yours is. hehehe Love her to death though. Its only three colors, and looks so easy, teadious though. Tell me what you think? Good luck.

THAT would be beautiful in the colors identified! Adding another to my list :)

I love Maggiemay's quilt! It's simple, but the fabrics make a powerful statement.

A Carpenter Wheel would work.

I love making Stairway to Fortune. I did not buy the pattern. I just looked at it and made it by cutting my own strips. There are graphic prints and solids in black, white and red with the pop of aqua on the back.
