If anyone has the name of this quilt block I would be most grateful. A friend was putting it together at retreat for another friend and didn't know the name. It is beautiful! Thank you.

It's not quite I don't think but if we can't get any closer "Hands All Round - Variation" is a start!

It does look like the hands all round on point. It is beautiful!

I don't know the name. I do agree it is a very pretty block.

Is it paperpieced? If it was, you might try looking in Quilterschache.

It does look like a different version of hands all around. I wonder if someone here who has quilt block design software could come up with a pattern for you. It's really pretty and more delicate-looking than the original block.

I'm thinking because of the construction that it is a modern interpretation. Traditionally, I've seen things similar to that also called Turkey Tracks and various "tulip" or flower names.

Is it tiny/small? My copy of this book is currently loaded out, but I would have looked there

Yes, it is paper pieced. It is not small. The secondary pattern when put together is circles. It is so delicate looking and beautiful!
Thank you for all of the help so far.

I can't find a name for it, but I drew it in EQ and I hope it'll help you piece your own.

It's a snowball in the center, with a triangle in a square on each side of the snowball, a flying geese on each side of the triangle in a square and a plain square in each corner.

The rotary cutting pdf is for a 10" block.
