Help identify this pattern?

Help. A friend's grandmother made this quilt and called it "Road to Jericho." I can't find a pattern that looks like this one. The roadway is made by turning the squares and it looks like each road crosses both corners of the block. All blocks are identical. Anyone have a clue for this simple pattern?

I hope someone comes up with the name I have been searching for a pattern for my brother and this looks like the one I want to do

The one I made almost like this was called crazy drunkards path. Mine had crazy quilt like centers on each block then a narrow arc then a quarter circle in 2 opposite corners.
|
Very interesting.

Snakes trail. There are lots of variations and I think I remember seeing a website/blog somewhere where multiple variations were shown.

hi.....my avatar quilt was made with a group of acrylic rulers that you can use with your rolling cutter...came with several different configureation of arches
I call this one Angel's View ......as in from the top of the Christmass tree |
What an interesting quilt - just when you think you have seen them all, a new (old) one pops up. Thanks for the site.
|
cool site...thanks..

What beautiful quilts! Whoa! And Oh, by the way, I love love love Emily Dickinson. Site is bookmarked for certain!
Thanks ever so much! |
I agree it is a Drunkard's path variation.
|
Just make several blocks-you stated they are the same, only 1 block-then twist and turn them to get the path.

The link won't work for me either. I took out everything and went to Early women masters site and found lots of quilt listings but no snakes trail. I even searched but can't find it. I love the quilt.
