I downloaded the templates. Do you think a person could paper piece this block?

I don't think you could paper piece this block with the curves. If you figure out how....could I please have a copy of the pattern? ;-)

Your ability to remember and share with us your knowledge is wonderful! I'm so glad you post here.

Not the same quilt BUT the secondary pattern to this block is pretty cool. Another reason I wish "designers" would show the whole quilt, not just blocks!

Sure makes into a beautiful quilt. Jan, I just admire all the quilting knowledge that you share with us.

Glad you asked the question and shared the block.

I totally agree, Jan, you are a wealth of knowledge and have helped me tremendously just by reading your comments!

It is a really unusual block, which was extremely well pieced and the finished quilt should be gorgeous. I did notice that one of the blue pieces was pieced, but that is typical when fabric was scarce and hard to come by. I wish I could help you. Have you tried quilterscache.com, there may be something on that site that would be helpful.

Thank all of you for your complimentary remarks. :o
I have to admit, though, that it's not so much retained knowledge on my part, but sometimes the ability to know where to find that knowledge. This particular information came straight from Barbara Brackman's Encyclopedia of Pieced Patterns; that book has saved me more times than I can count!!

Thank you both so much for showing us where to find the pattern. I do love this quilt and can't wait to find some fabric and make it.
