I am working on a jigsaw puzzle quilt. What kind of border would you do? Need some suggestions.

Do you have a picture?

I went to http://quilting.about.com
In the upper right hand corner there's a search box. Type in
Jigsaw Puzzle.
The picture shows a baby quilt with no border.

If you use very colorful material, then I would put in a black or navy blue border.

Or if you wanted someting harder, make a smaller version of the jigsaw puzzle pieces.

Have you started it? I've got two great patterns, happy to send them.

I used 3 borders on mine..... a narrow width black border as a first border, then a wider scrap border and an outside black border.

My quilt, I think, has too many prints and not enough plain fabric. So it looks too cluttered. I can find so many clothes with flowers, and prints but am having a hard time finding plain clothes to cut out.
Maybe if I can get my daughter to show me how to post a picture, I can show it and get some more advice.

If you feel it is beginning to look too cluttered, then a solid black border would be just the thing. I have done that in the past and it really ties it all together.
