I swear it's a conspiracy. I thought paper scrapping was expensive and now my favorite paper company is doing fabric (Basic Grey)... And then a few minutes ago I stumbled upon some very cool fabric from "My Mind's Eye"... Aack!!! I have about 50 projects I want to do and can't stop buying fabric!!!! Please dont tell me there are other companies that have converted to fabric! Actually do... ha!! I def need to go on a fabric diet. Thanks for listening to my rant, but thought some of you might be able to relate!!!

I thought I'd kicked that habit and left the scrapping world behind. Now you tell me they're making fabric! Now that I think about it those scrap paper lines would translate nicely into quilting fabric. I'm off to check out that website. This could lead to a serious relapse. ;)

I love Basic Grey as well..LOL. But I just thought to make it worse for you I woould let you know that COSMO Cricket also makes fabric......Amy butler does both..Anna Griffin.....They all cross over eventually...I need to go to a meeting as well..LOL

I have fabric dependency issues. Dr. Drew has not been successful in his attempts to wean me off. I occasionally suffer severe withdrawls and the only thing that works is a fabric fix.

I don't think a "junkie" like me will be of any help to you.

Did you hear that......the fabric is calling me, again!

I currently have about 12-15 quilts in different stages of completion. With all the spring/summer fabrics coming out I can not tell you how hard it is to resist. Luckily I dont have any money atm so that helps! HAHA Seriously though I dont think it ever gets better...just worse. Everything is a must have...and dont even get me started on sales as a way of justifying... but at least you have lots of company? *hugs*

I went to my LQS this weekend just for some fabric for a quilt for my dog and was not buying anything else. Well $150.00. I walked out with a huge bag of fabric from there $5 table 1/2 yard min.

I too am an enabler.

All of us might be able to relate - without a doubt.

Patty Patches 04-28-2010 05:18 PM

I went to Pauls to get some thread and spent $100 on fabric that wouldn;t let me leave without it. So I;m no help to you.Sorry [not]

BKinCO 04-28-2010 05:23 PM

I'll join you at your meetings! I almost hated seeing Basic Grey fabric because I knew I'd have to buy some....lots....just because of scrapbooking :(

GrammaNancy 04-28-2010 05:33 PM

Yep, love that fabric....all I want is...1 of each! Each and everyone I see. I have even gotten bold enough to ask friends for their scraps, sad I know

Momto4, what is your favorite shop in the Wausau area? I am a fabric-oholic also. I live half way between Marshfield and Eau Clairie. Always fun to try different shops!!

scrapsoftime 04-28-2010 06:31 PM
