help joining hexies for gfg
 
http://www.accuquilt.com/catalog/pro...9/image/28159/ I want to start joining the white how can I go about it I have been sewing them in rounds should I continue in rounds then join the next or should I sew 4 white in a row like the center then connect I have 4 flowers complete ready for the white I just want to do a small maybe a pillow I'm machine sewing no pp or hand sewing.... thanks

I did a bit different pattern. I first layout my blocks first to make sure that I had all the colors balanced. I started attaching the white hexes to my most center blocks, then I attached the six surrounding ones and then filled in the white hexes around each of the six flower blocks. You just keep adding blocks and then filling in with the white hexes. Good Luck!!

I would surround every other flower with white, then sew them together, filling in the "blank" spaces as I go. I'm sure others will have other ideas

I am at exactly the same point with mine and was wondering how to go about it, so i'm glad you asked!
Although I am now reconsidering my layout, as I really like the way maniacquilter2 has done it! It seems it would be easier to get a good shape quilt at the end! I shall have to play around a bit and see how it turns out!

Someone posted a youtube link on another hexagon thread. The lady (I think her name was Sue?) had a lot of good information on sewing hexagons and sewing them together.
