I have a friend who wants to make this quilt. Does anyone know where she can find the pattern? Thanks for the help!

mom-6 01-12-2012 08:51 AM

Sorry don't have the pattern, but it is a gorgeous bargello with applique

mic-pa 01-12-2012 09:22 AM

I have no idea about where to find the pattern but it definitely is a bargello and the person maybe just added her own applique to the quilt top when she finished it.

Ladyjanedoe 01-12-2012 09:27 AM

IT really looks like it could be a Nancy A. Smith or perhaps even a Dereck Lockwood pattern.

Holice 01-12-2012 09:48 AM

do you know where she saw the quilt

Rock Lady 01-12-2012 05:11 PM

That is definitely one beautiful quilt. WOW! I hope you find the pattern.

lfstamper 01-12-2012 05:31 PM

Gorgeous would love to know the pattern name.

Jennie and Me 01-12-2012 06:49 PM

I don't know, but that is really, really pretty!

Valerie Scherr 01-13-2012 12:34 PM

It looks like the pattern that I am making this spring in a class ...The pattern is called Arabian Nights by Lidia K Froehler A Cotton treasure design ... hope this helps.

Valerie Scherr 01-13-2012 12:41 PM

here is a site to purchase the pattern if it is what you are looking for

ghostrider 01-13-2012 01:11 PM

Google finds no matching images. Where did you or your friend get the photo?

Edith2 01-13-2012 03:24 PM

This may be the Bohemian Bargello by Bradie Sparrow. Google it.

Peckish 01-13-2012 04:18 PM

I looked at both the "Arabian" and "Bohemian" bargello quilts, and I think it's closer to the "Bohemian" variation. However, the closest I could find to an actual written pattern for it was "Jelly Bargelly".

Your friend would need to add her own applique.

Lavada 01-14-2012 04:56 AM

KimS 01-14-2012 01:24 PM

I Googled "Arabian Nights" and it also brought up a quilt called "Arabian Carpet". Hope this helps because it's certainly a gorgeous quilt! Good luck in finding the pattern. :)

Carol Jean 01-14-2012 08:26 PM

Wow, this is a beautiful quilt. I can see why she would want to make it.

CMARAS1234 01-14-2012 09:03 PM

If you google that name and artist, you will see it,

DeAnne-Mn. 01-15-2012 12:11 AM

At Clotilde online under electronic downloads there are two different patterns that may be close to the picture. The applique would need to be added. Hope one of the patterns are what you're looking for. Bargello Heart Pattern is the name of the one I thought might want. Good luck.

katigirl 01-15-2012 12:52 AM

Lovely quilt. I think bargellos are beautiful.

purrfectquilts 01-15-2012 09:22 AM

It is a great looking quilt. I don't have the answer for you though. I did check on Arabian Nights by Lidia K. Froehler but this is different it appears. Let us all know what you find out.

karate lady 01-15-2012 10:47 AM

Thanks for all the information. I have passed the info on to Joyce. I hope she finds the pattern. She wants to make it for her daughter. She has some lovely rose fabrics already that would be perfect.

quiltingcandy 02-03-2012 10:14 PM

Has anyone been able to find this pattern or the artist? I keep searching the internet without success.

Longarm 02-04-2012 05:25 AM

The book "Tradition(s) with a Twist" may have this or a similar pattern.

kkdolls 02-08-2012 09:20 AM

Please post the name of the pattern if you find it. This is absolutely gorgeous.

katydidkg 02-08-2012 10:06 AM

Yes, please post the name of the pattern when you find it. thanks,

QuiltnNan 09-19-2013 05:26 AM

this is a perfect example of why one should put the source in the title of a saved picture. when i copy someone else's picture because i want to see it again later, i start with the date in this format 20130919 [today's date or the posting date of the picture] and then QB QuiltnNan if it was one of our members. if from a website, i put prettyquiltcom in the title so that i can go back to prettyquilt.com to find the original posting. also, this prevents posting copyright pictures to the QB. and it gives credit where credit is due.
