Sorry about the pdf.file which was deleted. Here is the link for the free pattern, it's at the bottom of the very first page.

It looks like a variation of the pattern done by ToadUSew, I think the name is Thinking Outside The Box. There are several posts with pictures about that quilt. It is made using 1/4 Log Cabin blocks.

Try Blank Quilting -- Shade Cascade. It should be relatively easy to adapt.
Sorry, I see it has been removed from this site as well. |
There are several ways to do this. I think the easiest is to make chevron log cabins: start with small square, and continue by adding logs to 2 sides only. easy!

To me it looks like each color gradation block is a kind of log cabin, but the center square is placed at corner and strips run on two sides.....I am guessing using some of the color gradation fabric would be great for this........that's how I see it.

I saw this on a web site but the information was for buying the entire quilt kit. Has anyone seen the pattern for the quilt?
|
Can wait to see it finished....will you do the same colors?
|
Think the squares can be made then cut into quarters?[/QUOTE]
You wouldn't have the 1/4" seam allowance if you tried doing this...so I don't think you can take that road!!!! |
Oh I love this quilt! Quit coming up with all these beautiful quilts dear OB members---I have beauty overload!
