Hi
I would like to make a wall hanging for my sewing room. I am moving into a room that has a lot more wall space, and the walls are a really cheerful green. What would be a good sort of wall hanging to dress it up a bit? Thanks Emily I would prefer free patterns |
I was thinking that since it is for a sewing room, how about a sampler from your favorites @ quilterscache.com or another web site like that one.
Then I noticed you avatar and assumed this would be a good idea as you appear to be a fan of the sampler. Just a thought, Maribeth |
I am doing seasonal wall hanging. They could work with a green wall.

Hi Emily, I have a neat wallhanging pattern, I think it's called 'Spools & Tools'. I bought it off Ebay awhile ago, haven't made it yet, but I love it. There was several of them listed at the time, so you could check it out. It has spools (of course) and I think a sewing machine, scissors, etc. Now I'm going to have to dig it out! lol!! I bought it to make for my sewing room. :-)

http://www.fatcatpatterns.com/2008NQDfinal.pdf You'd need to choose colors to match your room, but it's a great pattern for fusible applique. I have it on my to-do list. |
Hey, you changed your avatar :? , it used to be a sampler and now it is applique. Is that your creation in the avatar? It is very pretty.
