Help with math?

If someone is charging $2.40 per square foot to quilt ; how much is that in square inches for price?
Thank you

There are 144 square inches in a square foot. .. so $2.40 divided by 144 = .0167

a square foot contains 144 sq inches so .0167 per sq inch

Square foot is 12" x 12"= 144sq inches. $2.40 pr sq ft * 144 sq inches = .016 per sq inch.

As a retired educator, I can tell you that everyone getting the same answer does not necessarily mean the answer is the right answer however in this case the same answer is the right answer.
