help me find pattern for this tablerunner
 

I have a printout of a tablerunner....the one that is made with "strippy" material and only needs 5 seams......long center and two 60 degree triangles at each end.....well, I am stymied about cutting those triangles, don't quite understand what the direction and drawing is saying......went to website of timeless treasures and it stated this pattern is no longer free..........does anyone know if there is a tute out there somewhere that I can see exactly how these tris are cut????/thanks for help

If you post a photo it might help me picture what it is you're looking for... I can't picture it at the moment.

This placemat is same idea as the tablerunner, just shorter. Hope you can figure this out.
Maybe try it with some scraps before cutting your nice fabric.

The Jenny Beyer placemat tutorial is very clear. Thanks for posting the link I think I need to go make some.:)

I have made several of these runners--have the 60 degree triangle template to cut the triangles--. The Jinny Beyer pictures are really helpful showing how to cut the triangles. Be sure to sew the triangles to the center piece before you sew the long seam to sew the halves together tho. Good luck and I'm sure you will love the piece when you have it done.

I have this same pattern and it is honestly the worse pattern I have ever tried to use. I have wasted more fabric trying to cut this table runner per their directions. Awful, awful ,awful. Need a tute desperately!

Thanks for the link. I have been a little wary of trying the big table runner. That's a lot of fabric to risk ruining. I'll try this and maybe figure things out better.

The Jinny Beyer pattern is the way to go, plus it's free from her site. I just use my 60 degree ruler and it works out great.

Go to The Quilt Company's website (thequiltcompany.com) and go to patterns, then table runners. You'll see "Easy Striped Table Runner." That's the one you want if you want easy, fast, but good looking. I've made several and found the directions to be clear and make the best use of fabric.

I have that pattern. It is not free, and is not allowed to be copied. I think I paid $9 for it,but have made many runners from it. You use a 60 degree ruler. I can't find the pattern at the moment (must be under one of the stacks), but have found it readily available at most LQS.
