I proved to myself with this quilt that she is right (and i'm old enough now not to care that she is right). But even with knowing all this i still can't come up with a good name. Help me please. I had a second idea you might like. Elvis Presley's first ever recording was a song called "Mama liked the Roses". You could find her a copy of the song to give her with the quilt. It is a beautiful song he wrote just for his mother. Here is a link if you have never heard it.

This might be the one, I think she would like to see that written for all eternity too (or however long the quilt might last). After all how many times do we really tell our mothers they really were right? The roses, flower, garden and red themes are all much more obvious aren't they anyway, so I really like this name. Thank you!

Oh my gosh I actually changed it to Mom knows best, but only because I never call her mother - or Momma for that matter. But I like it for the name of her quilt so thank you to you both! And thank you to everyone who weighed in. I'm making the label right now and even wrote red and brown go together just like she said on the label. She's going to love it!
Now to figure out why the pic posted sideways. They never have before I don't think lol. |
