I think black would give it a dramatic look, or even navy.
You did a great job!!

How about on point with the setting triangles in a striped fabric with several of the colors in the blocks? Sort of a gypsy vibe. Ideally, all the triangles could have the stripes running vertically, but then you'd need twice as much fabric and have a lot of unused triangles, so maybe alternate vertical and horizontal? I'd bind it in red for an extra kick.😊 Love the quilt so far!

On point is so pretty! I would match the triangles as closely as possible with a nice solid. Your quilt is so pretty. Well done on those blocks. Please post the finished quilt.

Cattitude, I absolutely love this quilt! My idea is taken from this year's Bonnie Hunter mystery. Forget about the setting triangles. Just trim the quilt and have half blocks acting as the setting triangles.

As expected, a lot of great ideas here....now my head is blowing up with the possibilities! I am happy to stay with the on point layout, always nice to have your preference backed up when you are hedging a bit.
I have pulled out all of my extra bits of fabric from both the blenders and prints to see if I have enough to add to the leftover cats cradle blocks of which I have approx. 20.
QuiltE, I was planning a Tuesday trip to Newton anyway so the timing is good if I can't figure this out with my existing stash.

How's your stash shopping going? Found anything?

The earlier suggestion to not use setting triangles, but to lop off the excess isn't such a bad one. Simple and finished off with a binding. Of course, all depends on how large you want that quilt to be. The chopped pieces could be made into a go-with runner/topper.

Whatever you decide, don't decide until you go to Newton!!! I can think of a few tonals that I have got there before that might be perfect. Of course, not that they will still have them!!! :) Have a fun trip ... stay safe!!

Good Luck!
