Help me pic ?

Hi! This is some fabric I was talking about in an earlier post. After all the pieces were sewn and squared up I decided I didn't like it. I don't like the beige I picked. I think it looks to muddy. I want to put it together anyway just to get it out of my craft area. The original pattern was supposed to be the diamond pattern, but now I'm thinking just putting all the blocks the same way and calling it done. I tried to do two quick small layouts to give an idea. Both layouts are in the same photo. Which do you all prefer? Thank you!!

Definitely the one on the right :)

I think you will be surprised at how much you love this quilt when finished. I think either way will look great!

I like them both, but if you continue laying out the blocks in left one it creates a wonderful secondary pattern. I did one like it and love it. Your color choices look really well in the right side. I vote for BOTH!

I prefer the fluffy one at the top. I think the fawn, light brown main colour is what makes it look dull to me I wonder if a dark brown will change it.

I really like them both ! But if it is the muddy color that is bothering you I would go with the one on the right, since it breaks the color up through the whole quilt and makes it less dominant. Then you could do an all over quilting with a colorful variegated thread and I bet you don't notice it much at all !

the one on the right. I like your color choice.

Lol that's smush, the smush face princess. I couldn't convince her to move, she was already mad I made her get off the fabric. Last time I dyed my hair I accidentally dropped some on her ( she is always under my feet) she has a few chocolate brown spots now. It works on people and kitty greys lol.

Thank you all for your input! I never thought of verigeated thread, I will have to look into that.

I like both also
What about trying to use both design in the same quilt by putting one as a border to the other or by alternating some blocks. .. It would brake the beige that you don't like.

I like the beige and the layout on the right. The left may make a good border.
