Help need a name
1 Attachment(s)
I found 8 of these blocks at a garage sale, but would like 9 to make square sit upon quilt. I've looked a few places, but can't find its name or the pattern. My next step is to see if any of you are better at finding things than me, which is a given I'm sure.

Or, you could put an entirely different middle block, hand embroidered flowers if you do hand work, or an applique of flowers cut from a fabric.
Isn't that block called Cake stand.
I believe it's called the Flower Pot block. Here's a link...edited to add that it's not the flower pot but very similar.

Very nice blocks and what a great find. Looks like someone has found the pattern for you-how wonderful is that. Please share with us when you get another block done and get a finished project. No pressure!! LOL

Thanks all, I knew I could count on your expertise. Now to adjust the patterns up to a 13 in. block....aargh math. This is the next project on the pile.
Fortunate find! Of course, you now see how many different names the same block might have,
I, too, think it is cactus basket.
