I need tutorials and patterns to make small items to donate to our company fundraiser for local charities. I need things I can make quickly. I appreciate all ideas. Thanks!

Look under tutorials for tissues holder. It's very easy and uses scraps.

Here are five pages of gift ideas. Also check All Free Sewing.com and All Free Quilting.com for free patterns.

I am waiting for a tutorial on the little panties coin purse posted by Wowilikethat. Maybe you can figure it out from the picture post? She does have a site under the same name and I am going to check there as well. They are really cute!

I made a bunch of small quilts for dogs or cats that I am hoping will sell quickly at our guild's craft booth. Let me find a picture. People buy things for their pets, or at least I hope they do.
The checkerboard squares are 4 " and the border around that is a 2 inch border. These went together quickly. Maybe it is an idea that could be helpful? Dina |
If you have an embroidery machine small in-the-hoop coin purses or zip drive holders are quick. I use sports fabrics and they always sell fast.

Different---but people seem to love them. Google "Owie the owl." It's a cute little owl that is stuffed with rice and heated or frozen to put on aches and pains. You can also stuff with polyester for cute little bean bags or tours.

Love these projects!

^ Changing pad. It calls for "pre-quilted flannel", but I did regular flannel with batting in the center. Instead of Velcro (I ran out), you can make easy little ties that you sew into the binding & it rolls up nicely and then can be tied. It's always been a huge hit with new parents or grandparents! |

I took a look around http://www.wowilikethat.com and she has a lot of cute small projects. The "mug" mug rugs are quick and easy with a bit of ribbon for the handles. Click on the Quilting tab and then on My Quilting Projects and the Mug Rugs are at the bottom.

love the Big Girls Panties purse-looks like it would be fast and easy too

This would work great for placemats, too, if you used 4 across x 3 down w/the 2" border. I know Meals on Wheels likes theirs to be 12x18".
Check some of the blogs - Sew Mama Sew is a good one. Also, check out the Craftsy patterns. They have a lot of free ones.

I just found a can cooler, they are calling it Dad's Drink Cozy, on the Fiskars web site Also, a recycled lunchbag on indigo junction web site. Both are made from old bluejeans. I thought they were both cute.
