Help needed

On June 13 I mailed off a quilt to be quilted by a shop I mentioned on the Board. Stupid me, I forgot to write down the name of the shop and can't find the email mentioning it and don't know where to search on the Board to find my original post.

This is a shop in KS I believe that had very low prices for quilting, batting, backing and quilting was only going to be $74 for my size quilt. I did get verification that they received the quilt from the USPS but nothing yet from the shop.

Do LAQ usually contact the owner of the quilt when they receive it or do they just quilt at the quoted price and then contact for payment. The LAQ said she would contact me when the quilt was finished and arrange payment then but I'm starting to get nervous that the quilt is sitting somewhere, where I do not know

if you posted in that subject with the shop, you can go up to My Profile in the upper right side of the screen. click on that. then look under your avatar pic for My Latest Posts. Hope this helps.

Was it Happy Crafters?

Follow up to my request for help about quilt shop

I was able to locate the name of the shop, and have emailed them for any info on when it might be finished. I'm thinking many of us sent ours off to Happy Crafter's in KS after reading how inexpensive their prices were.

Wow, their prices are amazing. Update us when you get it back.

I sent one to happy crafters tooGot an email from them promptly when they received it in the mail. It has been about 3 weeks ago and have not heard anything since. They are probably back logged. Anxious to see how it comes out.

I just went on their website and I thought I was reading wrong......their prices are very reasonable. Please let us know how your quilt turns out when you get it back and show pictures!

She emailed me yesterday that her DH has been ill so she's fallen behind in her work.

My ancestors are from Kansas and it is certainly less expensive to live there than in So CA. Too bad about her husband's illness. Hope you post a picture when you receive your quilt back.
