It's amazing how the addition of an extra black stipe totally changes the look of this quilt :) Thanks for sharing, it would be a great one to use up all those really light coloured scraps.

I'm looking at the directions, but thinking, "Why can't you sew the 4 triangles together for a block and then use the black strip for a QAYG on point (diagonally) and then just bind in black"?
Love the quilt and I'm not a Modern person either. |
This is a very pretty modern quilt. Generally I don't like them. Some are not so pretty but this is very nice.

That's a great quilt, looks easy enough, thanks for the link.

I am always in awe at the resources this board offers. People on here are amazing! Post a picture or a problem and someone has the answer not only for the person asking but for the rest of us too. Thanks

That's so pretty. Love the colors.

This quilt just moved to near the top of my must do list. I love it and the instructions are clear.

I would think of a tube quilt myself. sew three fabrics into strips, one wide one, the skinny black and the colorful one. then cut with a 60 degree triangle (think 60 degree). looks great. draw it out or try in scraps and see how it goes.
