Looks like you got most of it. Won't show once it's done unless you look with a magnifying glass.

I took black Sharpie big scribbles off my fridge door with Fit Vegetable Wash. Also print shops have an ink remover for their employees to use.

Oh, that's great! Glad it worked for you! Wish mine was on the fridge, too!

And that's about as good as its going to get!! Yay!!
Went back to using Grandma's after the linament did its best. Used Grandmas' bout 12 times! Really important to work it in. I used a teaspoon to scrape/rub then let it sit 10 mins each time, washing with soapy water in between. Got a little fainter after each treatment. Hopefully the final wash when the quilt is complete will take out even more. Thanks for all of your help! |

Got this small stain on this quilt while quilting it. How would you remove it, or can you? On scraps of same fabric I've tried Grandma's Spot Remover (best so far), Resolve, lemon juice, Oxy Clean, vinegar, milk, hand sanitizer, and bleach ... so far! I don't have hair spray but maybe daughter does. One product I heard of (advertisement) was Lift Off. Anyone tried this? Of course I'd love not to have to take quilt apart, but may have to to slip paper towel under the stain. Sharpie website offers no help - I have hunted the internet but maybe you know of something? Please? :( |
Didn't know there was a white one! Got this one solved but might be good if (please, NO) in future. Will look for one!
Oh yes, there are some! Even by Sharpie! Worth a test! Thanks! |
this is good info. i just dropped a blk marker on my purple bedspread/quilt (purchased one).
|
Oh no!!! In that case I don't think the suggested white marker would help! Can you try things like Grandma's on a hidden bit? I really hope you can remove it! Let us know!
