If you go with the rayon invisible thread, you may want to check to see if the smokey color looks better than the clear. I have quilted with it before but I think the invisible reflects more light and that the smokey looks better on some fabrics.

It would be great if you could post a picture of your blocks. I would like to see it before making a recommendation.

Ditto for my recommendation - cream for light, gray for dark.

Hi Caroline,All the above is great advise.So,which ever your most comfortable using,that's what I would go with.I've used it,and it worked great.I use clear for light fabrics,and the smoke for darker fabrics.It blends right in with any color that way.

Hi Guys,

Thanks for all the advice. I evenutally went with colours that blended in ...... the project was Happy Daisy. I have posted a pic in the pictures section if you want to see what all my whinging about!
