Help Please
 

Hi. I have been wanting to make the Double Wedding Ring Quilt for a long time. I came across a pattern on the internet today and it looks really easy but i dont understand something. I will post pics. of the block and the finished quilt. Can someone please explain how this quilt ony has one block? thanks for any help cheryl :)

do yourself a favor...look up this book...and you're right, the quilt has to have a different treatment for the edges...

The first quilt is what a DWR would look like with just the block that you have posted. (I intentionally left a space inbetween the blocks.)

The second quilt shows the additional block needed to complete the quilt to duplicate the one you have shown. This block can be made rectangular, so that there isn't as much extra blank space. It can also be made with just the melon pieces, so that it finishes with a scalloped edge :) :) :)
