Hi Guys,

Is there a particular name for those lovely Christmassy mantle covers.... Or are they just called mantle covers.

I've seen them called covers, scarves, and shawls. I saw a different term a few days ago, but for the life of me, I can't remember it! Sucks getting old... :)

Usually I've heard them called "mantle scarves", but when I was out east & there were some of those extra deep mantles, a few of the older folks referred to those as "mantle runners".

Boy, you sure have it RIGHT AngeliaNR. They probably have a variety of names since there are so many countries that we quilt in.
