Ok, I am a dummy, I accidently pasted the http that told the forum that I did not want mail from a post I made. Can I get this back somehow. It is my introduction page and I like to answer people if I can.
any advice?
Penny

Go to your Profile and click on the box that says you want emails from posts you are on. I think this is what you are asking

quiltingchic:
Thank you for your response. My preferences are set up that way I just checked. What I did is I got an email response from one of my posts and went into the email to copy the http, for example,
http://www.quiltingboard.com/posts/l...94.page#287615
instead of copying the one that takes me to the post to view the response from someone I copyed the one below it that says I no longer want to receive notifications for this topic. So now when someone responds to my intro I will not get an email. I still get other post. I just do not know if there is any way to go back and still get emails from the intro post.
I hope I am not being confusing.

Find your original post, and post a reply manually. At the bottom of the page, there is a message about watching or not watching the posts. I think if you DON'T do anything there, you will automatically receive mail when someone else makes a post. At lease it works for me! Hope this helps!

Shemjo:
Thanks, I will try that and let you know.

You can also just click the watch/not watch at the bottom without posting anything and you will receive notices too. It turns it on and off like a switch.

LoriJ:
Thanks I will look for that too. You girls are so helpful and I appreciate it.

LoriJ and Shemjo:
Just wanted to let you know that both of your suggestions worked. Thanks for your help. :D
