Ok, I admit I'm a dummy sometimes but how do you "edit" your own original post? I see how to edit the topic, how to delete pics, how to reply to a post but can't edit the original message.

Please help?

You only have a short window of time to edit your own post. After that, you can only edit the other items.

Isn't it right under the original post?

once your editability (is that even a real word? ) has elapsed, you need to contact a moderator to edit the body of a post.

we're happy to help with that. :-)

I've noticed sometimes that I can't edit a post where initially I could do it. It is nice to have this cleared up. So, at some point, the edit button disappears from your post.

It doesn't really matter for you since you don't have "a regular here" status yet.

Well, Scissor Queen, I was until today when I became a "naughty girl"!!

Glad someone else had this question. I had noticed others editing and knew it had to be done somehow.

I think "editability" makes a nice word.
