Hi, I just finished embroidering one color sun bonnet sues on my sashing strips. Here is my question, I used tear away on the back for stablizer, do I have to pick out every little piece or will it be ok if some is left...my concern is what will happen when the quilt is washed. This is a baby quilt I am making....(Oh why oh why I didn't use wash away) grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

I find that most of the small pieces will wash away - should be fine. I know they are inside the quilt. I haven't had any problems. I only use wash-away on stuff like terry cloth.

Thanks...I will quit worrying then....

sometimes spritzing with a little water and running a tooth pick along the seam will get rid of most of it- but it will just wash away in the wash when the quilt is finished and washed. the paper will just disintegrate and rinse away.
