help with quilting my new project

I am ready to quilt this wedding gift... I can't decide if I should just meander or leave it as is. I am not happy with the "Welcome to the" section.. it doesn't stand out enough... any suggestions... I did hand stitch in black around letters hoping it would help, but still isn't enough. thanks. formerly quilter 1234

You can paint over the letters with fabric paint to bring them out more. Some paints are more transparent than others, too, so the design of the fabric can still show through.

If you did a dense stippling in the background it would also help the letters pop forward some.

How about a red outline with red thread around the "Welcome to the".

I agree. Plus like someone else said stippling the background would help bring the letters forward.

I think this is the simplest and easiest way along with stippling. You might even try zig zag with red thread. GOOD LUCK !!!
