I know I'm late to this thread, but there's a product made by Goo Gone called Wine Out. It really works. I get it at Target. They usually have it in their $1-3 section.

I guess the moral of this story should be "No Wine Allowed in My Sewing Area." HEHE

Grandmas spot remover...Works like a dream..

Rub some plain glycerine - available in drugstores - on the wine stain, and then wash the quilt. I've even used it on old stains, and it still came out. Good luck! I feel your pain.
