I agree that a bright, pure white might take too much attention from the blocks, but I think a softer white would look lovely.

I would hunt the darkest green that I could find, and see what that does.

The darker the color of the sashing, the more it will recede. The lighter the color, esp. white, the more it will come toward you. If you want the focus on the sashing, use white. If you want the focus on the blocks, use something dark. If it were my quilt, I'd use either a matching blue or green.

I'd do something different than everybody else. I would probably do a three color sashing in one of the pink tones, then a green as close to the leaf color as I could find and one of the yellows in other flowers and then I'd do 9 patch cornerstones so it looks like the colors weave in the cornerstones. You can be very creative with sashing and get several different looks.

You really have to pay attention to which way the colors go when you do a 3 color sashing though!!

I would try a dusty rose colour as the sashing

The fabric is sooo fun and pretty, but the blocks have a lot going on. I would recommend using something that allows your eye a resting place so that it does not feel too overwhelming. I agree with the post about taking it to the fabric shop and auditioning colors.
