I am having major problems to all of a sudden,..great tip on the bobbin thread I am going to try another one to see if that is the issue.

Just sme answer as the rest of the board. Make sure your bobbin area is clean and rethread both top and bobbin thread. My Pfaff is touchy about this also.

Thank-you, thank-you, thank-you!!!! it was the top thread that was causing the issue!!!! I fixed it...you guys are the BEST!

That suddenly started happening to me on my old machine so from then on I tug the thread into the discs like you said. Now it's a habit. One of my few good ones.

Usually when mine used to bunch like that underneath it was because I did not have it threaded correctly. Is your thread going thru the tension assembly properly. Top tension may be set too low also. When in doubt I clean out my machine bobbin space too, a tiny sliver of thread can screw up everything.

when was the last time you cleaned your machine, including under the bobbin area? if there is lint built up it can cause lots of issues...also your needle should be changed after every 8 hours of sewing, or at least between projects. these 2 things can make a huge difference in stitch quality

It looks like there may be some lint or thread either caught in the bobbin or tension discs. Take the plate off the machine and give the bobbin race a thorough clean and oil and check the tension discs and change the actual bobbin that you are using. If it still doesn't rectify, it will be time for the technician.
