It's gorgeous! I would just bind it in one of the brighter colours from the quilt and leave it at that. Curious to see how you quilt it, that seems to be the hardest part to decide for me.

I like it just like it is.

love it without.

I think it looks just great the way it is. Maybe just think about binding with a bright color that is already in the quilt to give a little extra pop on the edges. Very cute!!!

LEAVE IT! LOVE IT!

I love the piano key border idea.

Ardelle, I love your quilt. it is so whimsical, and the colors are so beautiful. Small flange or folded borde of the shy material then piano keys, then binding in the sashing material would look really nice.

I'm still thinking about a border - tried some diagonal multicolored stripes that look good, but of course I don't have enough. Going fabric shopping in Pensacola next week and will look. If nothing pops out I think I will go with the piano border. Part of the problem with this quilt is that it is a mixture of batik and regular fabric so not sure if I should mix up the piano border or not?
I have a ton of bling to put on after it's quilted - shells, beads, flowers, life rings, oars etc. I will have it quilted at the LAQ. |

I agree with LoriEl. The sashing is wide enough to hold as a border. Plus it is Gorgeous!
