I am making a memory quilt and would like my finished blocks to be bigger than 12 " but 15 or less inches. I want to alternate between tshirts with logos and nine patches from the rest of the t shirt material. What size would i make my squares for the 9 patch?? Also, would a 15.5 " t shirt block give me a finished 15 " block or 14.5 " ?

I hate math and appreciate your help:)

You could use several different measurements. If you kept it simple and made each square 5" on your 9P you would have a 14" unfinished block. I have never made a t-shirt block but many people can help you with those measurements.

Thank you so much :) I always get confused on the math part.
