I have a Nolting long arm quilting machine and 10' bed. However the machine just does not want to quilt evenly (fuzzies on the bottom). Have had techie but no joy. Anyone have any ideas why?? Will quilt for a while perfectly then it goes off. HELP

Welcome to QB!
What do you mean by "fuzzies"?
I would work on my top tension, if I understand what you are asking.

Fuzzies its as if the top tension is too loose and bottom tension is too tight, not an even stich. however it will quilt perfectly for a time then it starts

Is it possible that your bobbins aren't winding evenly?

Pull the bobbin area apart and make sure there's not a tiny piece of thread caught in there. My Elna is funny that way.

Tension on a longarm is not an exact science. Take your time. Test the tension. Breathe. Try a few different things and see what works.

When you say "fuzzies" on the back, do you mean it looks like an eyelash? Some good tension on the back
like this - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - =

and then some lousy tension like this _|_|_|_|_|_|_
???

That is an issue on top when the stitches on the back are uneven. I would
1) rethread the machine
2) check the needle is in properly and perhaps turned a smidgin to the left
3) tighten the tensioner a bit
4) loosen the quilt sandwich a little
5) make sure the clamps on the sides are all holding the quilt evenly
6) check hoe high above the quilt the machine is setting-- it should be about the width of your hand, maybe an inch, so there is no drag
7) if you have a stitch regulator, turn it faster-- you may be sewing too fast for the speed setting!

Good luck and let us know how you do.

I would also be sure the bobbin area is really clean, and if you are supposed to oil the bobbin hook be sure it is oiled. I clean and oil my machine after each bobbin change.

I say try a new needle. I have hit a seam wrong and ruined a needle.

Make sure your top thread is not catching on any worn parts in the bobbin area.

Thank you to everyone who has helped me get my machine working properly. I am in awe of you all having never done this before on the quilt board!!! Thank you again. I am fairly new to this quilting thing but enjoy sewing. I have been a seamstress for 40 plus years but a quilter for only one. Thank you all.
