Would someone help me understand how to post a picture on my profile? Can you teach old dogs...new tricks! Thanks!

Click "Create New Topic" for a new topic or "Reply" for posting in an existing topic.

- Enter the contents of the post (the words, not the pictures).

- Preview the contents (if you want). You can skip previewing.

- Once you are ready to attach a picture, click the "Browse" button (below).

- Select the image file on your computer and hit OK/Open button in the file dialog.

- Enter the description of the file in the respective field (left).

- Leave the "store original" check boxes unchecked (the default setting).

- Click "Send" to submit your post along with the picture.

Make sure your picture is in JPG, GIF, BMP, or PNG format. Otherwise, it will be added as a file attachment without being displayed on the page.

DON'T click Preview AFTER you attach a pic.

If you asked how to post a picture in your profile, it's easier than you might think.

First, you need to have a picture stored on your computer that you want to use for your avatar. Make a little note to yourself where it is stored.

Go to the top of this page and click on My Profile. Scroll down the page to the Avatar section. There is a box with a button called Browse. Click on that, then find the file where the picture you want to use is stored. Click (or double click) on that file, and, voila, it will show up in your profile.
