Hi all,
I have a problem putting the zipper pull back on a zipper. Someone told me there was a tutorial on youtube that shows a really easy way, but I haven't been able to find that. Any tips on how to quickly get a pull back on a zipper? Thanks! |
Depends on what kind of zipper you are trying to repair. If it is the metal kind, I carefully hold the metal piece that it goes into and using the pliers, slip it back in the slit it came out of. If the slit is loose (why it came out?) I gently squeeze it back shut with the pliers. If the metal thingie is broken, I put in a new zipper. In a pinch, I have used a safety pin through the pull thingie to use as a zipper pull.

If the zipper is plastic, you can't get it to stay zipped.

If it is the heavy coat type zipper there is one end that allows you to replace the zipper head. Just make sure you put both sides of the zipper in the zipper pull at the same time.
Sorry, I've never seen the you tube video on this. |
Good luck. I usually just replace the zipper.
