Recently, I have had to prewash several small pieces of material. I had an "I should haave had a V-8" moment yesterday. I took the mesh bag I use to wash my panty hose in and placed the small pieces of fabric it it. Boy was it great, nothing got tangled or lost. Yea!!!!

Great minds..... we had a bag of goodies donated to our quilting group. some were bits and pieces and I have them zipped in a lingerie bag all ready for the laundry. Then I can start another string quilt.

When washing large pieces, I use the large mesh laundry bags. No ravels, no tangling. Also wash lace tableclothes that way. They don't stretch out of shape, etc. |
