a friend.

I find the older I get the less things mean to me. You gave her a gift that will last forever. Quilting has given me a sense of self worth I have never felt before. Maybe she will have this reaction also.

Joan Gaddis 04-11-2011 11:54 AM

you are a special friend.

Your friend is so lucky to have you in her life.

My only suggestion is to help her find the book "Boundaries" by
Cloud & Townsend.

Thanks Gana. I'm glad you liked your mug rug too. I was working on a few while helping my BFF. I talked to her today . I think I have created a new quiltingmonster HEHEHE. Don't you just love when that happens. She wants to take a trip to the LQS.

You are an awesome bff. I know the stress that you friend is living. I have an adult son who was paralyzed 4 years ago when he was only 19. And a fiance who is disable and has a 360 spinal fussion. I have back and neck pain that is constant myself and it is beginning to get worse everyday. I am in the best shape of all of us and the only one that is working. I handle everything for everyone. I also do most of the housework and cooking. My wonderful landlord is going to start sending landscapers to do the yard work so that I don't have to try doing that anymore as he knows how much pain it causes me. fabric therapy is my escape. keep encourging you friend. It sounds like you guys may be on your way to starting a new quilting group.
