I have made two bow tuck totes and I have used premier prints. I use warm and natural batting to quilt it with love how it feels, soft but stands up nicely. Here is my problem I want to make another with lighter weight fabric and I want to use the same batting. Will it be to limp? If so do you think, if I use interfacing with the batting, would that give me more support? Or do you think I should use polyester batting and interfacing? Help!!! :roll:

it should be fine-warm and natural has a nice body to it-but a light weight fusible won't hurt

I haven't made the bow tucks yet, but I've made over patterns.

I've used fusible fleece and really like it. If your WalMart still has fabric, you should be able to find it there. Joanne's and Hancocks also have it. Good item to use coupons on.

I always use the fusible fleece (Pellon 987F) that the pattern calls for ... I love it!

When I bought my Bow Tucks pattern, the quilt shop owner told me to use a stiff interfacing so it would stand up, and also a piece of plastic canvas fot the bottom.

Interfacing would be great. Poly batting--not. It is slick, and moves. Love the warm & natural.
