I just checked online and the March/April 2010 issue is no longer available. There was a quilt shop in TX that had a kit, but no longer.
I wrote to McCalls to see if it would reprint the Cubism pattern. Here's the address: [email protected] The squeaky wheel and all that. ;-) |
very clever!

Really cool. I love the 3-D effect. Please post a picture when you're finished.

i do not have a ruler with me to measure the angle- but it is the same as it is when you buy the tumbling blocks diamond templates from paperpieces.- just larger-
as for the prep work- i draw on my seam lines because i hand piece and it gives me perfect match points and a line to follow. tutorial is posted now

What degree is the angle of the diamonds and did you say the sides are 3 1/2" each? Also, why do you need to mark the seam lines?

Great JOB! They are awesome! How large are each block or cube?
I can't tell if they are Huge or just close-up photos? Pray, do tell. |
Thanks, ckcowl, I found that the templates are 60degree diamonds and you said the sides are 3 1/2" long, is that right?
