Hi there,
I recieved some pre-quilted material from my mil and I didn't know what to do with it.
When jan needed quilts- see below

http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-63082-1.htm

I thought I could use up the material by stitching material to the front and not having to worry about backing, batting and quilting.
So if you ever get pre-quilted material its a great way to make a quilt real quick. I hope this is self explained, because I don't think I am doing a good job about it. I hope it helps some people out there.

Quick, easy and creative. And uses scraps or jelly strips. Great idea. Thanks for sharing.

You can also cover a quilt bought cheap from thrift store or yard sale. Use a pretty top and the cheap (freshly washed) old quilt and do a little bit more quilting of it. This is good for kids to play with or watch TV with on the couch, or whatever their imaginations want it to become for the day.
Denim is good for this. It lasts and lasts and lasts.

This is a great idea. I now know what to do with an old bedspread that has been creating clutter.
